A Legacy Red Maple overlooking the lake - what a find! This tree is at the edge of the slope down towards the water, but it's still near the trail so getting there by walking or riding in the mobility vehicle is simple. The ground cover around this tree is low and lush - an all-round welcoming area for your forever tree.
All of the trees in Shoreline Vista enjoy lakefront views. Some pepper the banks of Fish Lake and others climb a gentle slope towards the rest of the forest, providing a unique vantage point from the ledge above.
Most trees in this section are accessible from a wide trail along the ridge. Others can be reached by a path at lake level. In warmer months, a pair of common loons has been frequently spotted in the lake, along with the occasional swan or bald eagle overhead.
We invite you to enjoy a personalized forest tour hosted by our Forest Guides. Bring your friends & family, meet your tree and our team, and experience the beauty of the forest you are helping to protect.
