This young tree is growing in a beautiful, lush area of the forest. Its straight trunk and textured bark invites you to touch and hug it.
Located at the far eastern end of the property, this section is bordered by small hills and valleys, providing a unique vantage point and sense of seclusion from the rest of the forest.
Deep in the woods with trails winding through gentle slopes, Cathedral Grove is the most untouched part of the forest. It’s perfect for enjoying moments of quiet reflection.
Clearings and a naturally occurring basin create space amongst some of the largest and oldest trees in the forest. Sunlight filters through the canopy, casting a golden hue on the forest floor.
At the forest entryway just off the main drive, Cathedral Grove feels deep in the woods yet is still easily accessible.
You and your loved ones can visit your tree and the entire forest during the spring, summer, and fall. The Rock River forest is open for regular visiting hours from April–October, Thursday–Monday. Just contact our team to make an appointment in advance. We’ll share travel recommendations to make the experience special.
We are currently open for visits by appointment. We look forward to hosting you soon.
