This tree lives on a hill overlooking the Huckleberry Trail. This hill is one of the first places to see the sunshine and hear the birdsong in the morning.
Highland Ridge features the highest elevation on our property, where sunlight beckons and rhododendrons bloom. This area boasts winding trails that guide you deep into the forest toward the headwaters of our seasonal creek. Distinctive stump features inspire imagination and wonder, showcasing nature's artwork. Moss is prevalent on tanoaks, mother stumps and nurse logs, glowing green and bright. Birds convene here in the sunlight, perched in the canopy, delighting passerby with their melodies.
